it takes years of abuse to damage floor joists, depending on your flooring type, that might need changing.
remove the tiles and let the wall dry, fill the tub with water,(important).refix the tiles, masking tape the tiles and the tub and seal with silicon, run a wet finger along the silicon,
remove the tape and again run your finger along, that will seal tile edge to tub, if you have vinyl flooring you can do the same around the room. this will stop water on the floor, leave the water in the tub for 24hrs

The wall is one thing, but what concerns me most, and should concern you, is the floor.
One day you're going to step out of your shower and your foot is going to go through the floor.
Or you're going to fill the bathtub and IT'S going through the floor.
I have a feeling you let this go for too long.
You might have some major structural repairs to make which would include removing the tub.
Hard to say without looking at it.
I would take care of it as soon as possible.
Have it looked at by professionals.
Get a few bids for repairs.
See if your Homeowner's Insurance will cover it...

Cover everything with MR sheetrock, except where you will retile. Spend the money, buy tilebacker board for there and spring for ceramic tile. This bathroom must be all crappy looking anyway. Plastic tile? That has to be 40 years old or more. Splurge on a new vanity, toilet and tub with a real valve body not a shower hose on a bracket. New casings, floor tile, medicine cabinet and lighting, too.

first use "green board" drywall, it is moisture resistant.
second if it is to be used with tile in the shower use cement backer board and attach the tiles to it.
after you get the tiles set and the grout is dry make sure to seal it and don't forget the silicone caulk.

think yo have bigger problems that just drywall. you will need to tear it all our and replace it wit wall board designed for water applications (cement or blue board) then refinish. A good DIY had book will give you good directions

First, you need to repair the drywall using "greenboard" drywall, which is the type that tolerates moisture better than the regular stuff. It looks green, so it often gets called "greenboard."

Once the sheetrock is patched, prime it and paint it with paints that are meant to be used in damp areas. If you're not sure which paint to get, go to a hardware store or Home Depot/Lowes and tell them your paint requirements. They'll fix you up with a paint that's suitable for a bathroom.

My suggestion is to replace it. Use a utility knife to cut it back to the tile, and pry it out with a hammer. Then buy moisture tolerant drywall and cover that with a barrier. You can install the shower head before the barrier and then put up the barrier. Use a screw gun and screws to put the dry wall into place.

replacement is the only option ,do not cover it or you will make it much worse FOR a modern look and speed your best bet is a pre-finished tub surround, fiberglass if you can afford it

Drywall is bad news in a bathroom since it falls apart when wet. Use a cement backer board instead. It is waterproof and won't deteriorate.

You need to use water board instead of drywall, it's like dry wall but it will be green. Then I would apply paint and really caulk around where the tiles and the wall meet.

Try putting some salt and a half a lemon on it. Squeeze the lemon first so the juice mixes with the salt and let it sit for about an hour then scrub the spot again with the lemon. Good luck. If this doesn't work there are products you can buy at the hardware store to remove rust.

Both glazed Bathroom Ceramic Tiles can be laid directly onto a concrete floor, as long as the floor is dry and in good sound condition. After the floor has been nicely prepared what now? Well, the next step is to start laying out those tiles of yours. If you want the end result to look professional, then careful setting out of the tiles will be required.
Now here comes the part of installing the Bathroom Ceramic Tiles which isn't a very complex job. Instructions on how to lay the Bathroom Ceramic Tiles, arrange, cement and other attributes are all over the Internet or home improvement guides. At the onset, you need to find the center of the floor and lay the tiles from there as it creates a feeling of visual symmetry. When arranging the tiles, you must make sure that the Bathroom Ceramic Tiles design is laid such that it creates continuity in the design.

And yes, ensure that your tiles blend with the color of the wall or the general theme of your bathroom wall and the fittings. You could also install a tile heater to give your feet the warmth as you step on it, a very good feature to have especially during winters or to avoid that sharp chill you'd encounter early in the morning. You could also use a relatively warm color shade to offset the cool look of the bathroom fixtures.

It depends on what you mean. If you're talking about a broken tile, then remove the grout with a grout saw and then carefully use a hammer and chisel to remove the tile and replace it with another one, and then regrout. If it is the grout, use the saw to remove the damaged part and apply new grout and let cure before use.

try chipping it out and then making it as flat as possible. Fill it with plaster. Then paint it with waterproof paint. I think the name of it is Mold Kill or something like that. It is bathroom or basement paint to keep the mold away. It is also used on basement walls. Then there are round plates that you can buy in various sizes. Find one that is wide enough to cover it over. It should look nice. If it happens again I think you will have to replace a section of the wall though. good luck.

You should check for moisture issues behind the sheetrock If it is cracking the sheetrock is probably destroyed in the first place and won't hold up. But moisture can cause brown rot which will only get worse if you don't take care of it. Brown rot is a serious problem if it goes too long without being addressed.

If the crack isn't too deep, sand around the area first the fill with joint compound, let it dry, prime the paint. If it is a deep crack, you may have to apply a piece of drywall tape (paper or perforated) then finish off with the above steps.

Anything you do short of replacing the damaged board will be temporary. You need to remove to stud lines and install a new section of green board. Tape and float the joints and repaint.

The toilet seals to the sewer pipe flange with wax ring. The floor is not part of the seal. If the floor needs patching or leveling go to your local hardware store they should have several products to patch and/or level concrete.

Particle board doesn't lend itself to repair very well. It is rather fragile. Since the dog chewed it, I assume this is very near the bottom front of the vanity. With this in mind, I would say any repair that doesn't completely replace the portion damaged will in time be damaged again.

The lower portions of vanities and the corners are subject to being hit by your feet, mops, brooms and maybe the vacuum cleaner. This will leave your short cut repair open to being abused and finally failing.

Depending on the size of the missing piece, I would sand or shave the damaged area to get a clean edge then get some scrap particle board of the same thickness, shape it to match the missing piece then glue it on. once it is dried sand the area where you glued it, to provide a smooth finish. Then paint or finish as needed.

it will be hard to match the laminate that covers the particle board with paint . it will never match. but maybe you could Spackle the hole and wallpaper over it. that would be cheap and quick . or possibly get some strips of Formica and glue them on in a way that they wil look good

This is a product that is a personal favorite of mine, and is sworn by all of the roofing contractors that I work with. It is the only permanent fix that any of us have found for roofing patches. It is easy to apply and very long lasting. It can be applied by brush or trowel. I have an addition that has always leaked until I found this product.
I believe that what is happening is that your roof vent has a gap in it that is allowing water to get passed the roof line. once it goes around the roof line it will run down the vent tube and then right to the fan. If the roofing guy only put caulking around it (he shouldn't have) the caulking is not strong enough to hold the roofing together. It would quickly crack and be leaking again. You can find this product at Ace Hardware stores. Have him use it and reseal the vent. It will hold this time.

Hope this helps.

SPACKLE is a compound for patching and it would only be correctly used in patching nail or screw holes made from hanging pictures and things prior to re-painting. . . it is not for drywall finishing!

I'm going to assume your walls are just taped and the fasteners aren't struck with "Drywall Joint Compound". That being the case you want someone who finishes professionally to come in and complete this as 1 out of 1000 people can do this to where the walls won't look like hell. Believe me, drywall finishing is a trade that you know and are good at. . . or you aren't. And I'm going to suggest that you have a pro do this for you for what should be no more that $350 at best, materials & labor.

If you can see the tape then you need to add a few layers of mud using progressively larger knifes. Since it is already taped you could probably get by with buying one bucket of the light mud.

Don't get the powder it drys quickly on you.

Then prime and paint :)

You could apply spackle and then paint. For best coverage, I would apply spackle with a patterned tool, then use some of that pre-patterned paint. That way you would be sure nothing shows from underneath.
